Book one in this series was simply to die for! The twists and turns were unexpected and fun but didn’t take away from the romance at all. Our Lives Entwined was interesting and had a TON of potential to be awesome…however, for me it just didn’t reach the heights I had hoped it would.

After the crazy discoveries from Our Hearts Entwined, there is a lot of healing and dealing that needs to be done. I really love that these books don’t focus in on one couple. Instead we get to read from everyone’s POV and get a glimpse at their lives and relationships.

Mia and Cayd are trying to live out their happily ever after…but things are not always that simple.

Eric and Natalie are both trying to move on…but failing miserably.

Josh and Louise…well they are awesome! (Possibly my favorite characters in the book lol very little whining or self-absorbed behavior from these two!)

With all of these couples there is a certain level of chemistry and sexual tension. Lilliana Anderson’s writing style makes it easy to feel like a part of the story and this book is no different. There is a lot of drama between…well everyone and some of it just started to get to me. I kept thinking “Umm…well that was childish….what about your love…ever think of forgiving someone? Past is past, people…especially when they didn’t even KNOW you when it happened!”

Okay…so from my mini rant there you may have a feeling why this book didn’t get the 4 or 5 star rating. While the story line has a decent amount of suspense and romance…the characters just got plain out whiny and self-absorbed! I know that Natalie’s character is supposed to be that way…I get that…and I dealt with it! I couldn’t fully understand how or why Eric wanted to deal with that…but hey his choice! However, somewhere along the way Mia joined in on the crazy-train and things went down hill from there for me. I found myself really disliking the characters! (Don’t get me wrong, the book is written beautifully and I couldn’t put it down, I really wanted to know where things would go…but I literally cringed every time Mia or Natalie spoke…all they cared about were themselves and it just got to be too much!)

Cayd puts up with a ton of crap in this book…Mia goes from being a mature woman to someone who runs at the drop of a hat and doesn’t give anyone the chance to explain. I know that a lot has happened to her and it is a lot to deal with…but none of it was cause for her to treat her friends the way that she did. I just can’t get over the personality change from book 1 to book 2! I still adore Cayd though…even if he did live a “playboy” life for a bit, that doesn’t make him a bad guy now.

As I mentioned before, Our Lives Entwined pulls out some awesome twists and turns on the mystery/suspense front. I remember when things came to a head over who the twins mother was…I was lying in bed reading and my first thought was “There is NO WAY IN HELL…nope…nu uh…fate couldn’t be so cruel!” But yep…it made for a good read!

I know that this review may seem like I’m saying the book isn’t good or worth reading…PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THAT IS NOT WHAT I AM GETTING AT! I am simply trying to explain why I didn’t enjoy it as much as I did the first one. 

Our Lives Entwined is totally worth reading if for no other reason than to get some closure and find out where each relationship leads! The story is still unique and fun to read (if you aren’t bothered by some childish behaviors) and the sexual tension and chemistry is intense. If you enjoyed Our Hearts Entwined then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving Our Lives Entwined a chance

“Mia,” Cayd called after her, as she made a beeline for the ballroom’s exit doors.

Glancing over her shoulder at him, she pursed her lips together and pushed through the doors, heading straight for the elevator bay. She called out to hold the lift as the doors were about to close and was lucky that the occupants waited to let her in.

“Thank you,” she smiled, as she took her place near them, closely followed of course, by Cayd.

“Where are you going?” he demanded, as soon as the lift doors were closed.

Mia hadn’t bothered to punch a button, she was just willing to ride the lift tow her where ever it was going, in the hopes that Cayd would be left outside it. But now, she glanced at the levels.

“The bar of course.” She leaned forward and pressed the floor that stated ‘bar and restaurant’. “I have some ‘picking up’ to do.”

Choosing to ignore her childish insinuation, Cayd tried to keep his voice calm. “You’re headed in the wrong direction for the bar. This lift is going up,” he pointed out.

“I’ll get there eventually.”

When the elevator doors pinged open, the couple inside made a hasty retreat, glad for freedom away from what was about to turn into a lover’s quarrel.

Although, the moment the doors closed and the lift once again began to move, Cayd pressed the stop button.

“Tell me what you’re upset about.”

“Cayd. What are you doing? Start the bloody lift or they’ll call the fire brigade.”

“Tell me what she said to you.”

Mia folded her arms and leaned against the wall of the lift. “She said that you’d slept with her and every other girl out there, and that you got some girl pregnant and took off. But mostly, she just went on about how young I am, and how you’ll get bored with me and toss me aside once I’m over thirty.”

Cayd let out a sigh, and stepped toward her, sliding his hands up to either side of her face. “Mia, I’m not going to lie to you. I have been with a lot of those women out there. But not one of them even holds a candle to you. She’s just trying to upset you. You, my love, are the only one I see. The only one I want to be with. You’re the only one who can run and have me pursue. I don’t care what those women think. I care about you. I love you. Only you,” he whispered, gently kissing her forehead, her cheeks, her eyes and finally her mouth.

Mia let out a whimper as his tongue entered her mouth, sliding against her own as he possessed her with his adoration. JUST DAMN! This book took the Tattoo Thief series to a who new level! It filled in all of the gaps that I felt were in the first two and then added in a touch of mystery and thrill for added benefit! Not only that, but Revenge Bound is a dual POV book, unlike the first two in the series. I felt that this added a new depth to the characters and story and pulled me in even deeper!

I love that each book overlaps a bit so we see a few important scenes from different perspectives. it really adds a whole new understanding to the story

We met Violet in the last book and I had a feeling that she may be a bigger part in the future. She was such a shy character and I really enjoyed getting to see what was eating at her. Having the books overlap a bit truly was a genius idea on Heidi Joy Tretheway’s part. Doing this added a new depth to the characters and the plot line and made sure that as a reader I understood where each character was coming from and why they behaved certain ways. I’m not sure that this book would have rocked quite as much if it weren’t done this way.

Jayce is the biggest player I have ever read about…I mean seriously! He takes the idea of being a rock-star and having groupies to a whole new level of low! I just knew I was going to hate him…I mean what redeeming qualities could he possibly have? 

Well damn if I wasn’t wrong! Jayce is one heck of a man. He is sexy, strong, protective and sexy…did I mention sexy? 

When Violet’s ex puts some not so flattering pictures of her up on the internet and adds in her name, address and phone number it leads to one hell of a story! Jayce is determined to protect Violet at all costs and breaks all of his rules in the process. 

The chemistry and sexual tension between these two is EXPLOSIVE! I’m not sure how they managed to wait as long as they did! Seriously, every time they are in a scene together I was sweating and panting and hoping that this would be the one! These guys were just made for each other. Trust me when I say that when they finally let loose…it is more than worth the wait!

Revenge Bound is overflowing with love, lust, tension, fear, suspense, mystery, humor, and just plain romance! The way the story ends is perfect and gives just enough of a cliff hanger that I am dying for the next book…I so want Dave’s story! I NEED to know what happens!

The story line in this book is amazing! I love that Heidi Joy Tretheway works in a real life issue with this book. Revenge Porn is huge and it’s disappointing that the laws aren’t stronger on this type of thing. It is always nice when an author pulls of an epic love story and works in a real life issue to help people learn more about it and the consequences and damages it causes. With the world today revolving around technology it is even more important that we share the ease with which personal photos can and are shared with the world. The side effects can be disastrous! Women share photos of themselves freely with their boyfriends/husbands and never think about what would happen if they ended up on the internet. God forbid someone go so far as to include the personal contact information as well…just wow…that would be super scary! I feel that this book is a very important book to read and share. The message within the romance is intense and invaluable. I want to say a HUGE thank you to Heidi Joy Tretheway for taking the time to write such an important and yet still entertaining and heartwarming story. I know that I will be sharing it with friends and family!

If Tattoo Thief was a great read, then Tyler & Stella (kind of wish it had a cool name like the others) was AMAZING!

Heidi Joy Tretheway set herself up for some hard work when it came to my feelings for Stella. She ended Tattoo Thief in a way that made me rather pissed off at her choices and well…I just wasn’t sure if I was even going to care or think she deserved to be with Tyler! Somehow, even though I am still quite mad about what Stella did, I found myself caring for Stella and hoping that Beryl and Tyler would find a way to forgive her. She had some major bumps in the road in her past and it explains some of her behavior…not all but some. I still feel like she was a bit “easy” (yes I know how much that word makes her cringe…but hey I call em like I see em) and made some pretty horrible decisions.

Stella’s past does not give her the right to act the way she does towards others. She needs to get her head out of her ass and wake up to the real world. Tyler is an amazing man…yeah so what if he screwed up once…he’s a rockstar that never got laid before becoming famous…it’s sort of expected to have one or two slip ups! The man that Tyler is NOW is pretty dang awesome. I do feel like he should have opened up to Stella a little bit earlier in their relationship, things may not have gone quite so crazy if he had, but at the same time I totally understand why he kept it to himself.

It was nice to get a break from all of the “perfect” people in romance novels and read about a couple that are “bent”, not broken, and need to work on who they are and figure out what they want out of life and love. Tyler is sweet, sexy, shy and pretty dang awesome…but definitely not perfect. Stella…well you read what I said above…she is far from perfect!

I loved that this story manages to mix in the art of forgiveness and redemption with the romance. Watching as Stella and Tyler bond and grow to trust one another was so heartwarming and endearing. I went from thinking that Stella was a total bitch to caring about her. While Tyler didn’t have as much of a transformation through the book, he definitely grew to be a stronger person. I was happy to finally understand why he kept doing the hot/cold thing with Stella and even happier when it stopped!

This story is FILLED with twists and turns and some pretty epic moments. Heidi Joy Tretheways’ brilliant writing style is at work again, leaving the reader in awe of the chemistry and romance throughout the story. I am in love with her writing style and cannot wait to read the next book in the series!

Tattoo Thief was unique, intriguing and totally swoon worthy! I adore a book that manages to have me laughing and crying and totally pissed off all within a few pages…and Tattoo Thief totally pulled that off!

I’m sure I can guess what you are thinking…what makes this book so unique? It’s your typical regular/poor chick meets rich guy and blah-blah-blah…but IT’S NOT! When the book first started I had the same thoughts. I just knew that this book was going to be predictable and thus end up loosing me. Some how Heidi Joy Tretheway pulled off the impossible! She took a typical story line and added in twists and turns…mystery and suspense…romance and sexual tension to the point that I had no clue what would happen next. Once I started reading I just couldn’t put it down!

The book starts off a bit slow, giving us some back story on Beryl (weird name…but it grows on you) and her life. Beryl graduated from journalism school only to realize that she didn’t want to be a journalist. She ends up at a coffee shop and a brewpub…seems legit right? When she gets the chance to move to New York, where her college roommate lives, she jumps on it and leaves her safe and predictable life behind. I’ll admit that during this part of the book I was a tiny bit bored, but I also knew that this back story was important in some way so I kept on reading. (This is the part of the book that pulled Tattoo Thief from a 4 star to a 3 star for me. I really wish there had been a bit more OOMPH or something in the beginning to make it more interesting to read.)

Gavin…well Gavin is your typical bad boy rockstar…or is he? He left his apartment trashed and fled the country, leaving his dog and responsibilities behind him. When Beryl accidentally freaks out on him for leaving the way that he did the story finally starts to get interesting. Gavin isn’t used to people treating him like a normal human being, so when Beryl goes so far as to call him an Asshole…well you can imagine he is intrigued to say the least.

Still curious what makes this story so unique? So far it seems pretty normal right? WRONG! 

Heidi Joy Tretheway throws in one heck of a curveball…Gavin is running from something major (not telling…don’t want to spoil it) and the only way he and Beryl interact for the majority of the book is through Google chat! Hehe…they don’t even see each other until the very end of the book! The fact that Heidi pulls off one hell of a romance and sexually charged conversations with two people that aren’t even in the same room is epic! Gavin slowly shows his true self and Beryl becomes more than the scared country girl in the big city.

Once the beginning back story was done I can honestly say that I adored every single page of Tattoo Thief! Heidi Joy Tretheway writes in a way that is both sensual and humorous, deep yet easy going, passionate and yet realistic. I fell in love with the characters and found myself feeling a part of their world. Heidi writes in a manner that draws the reader into the story and never want to find our way out.

While I only rated this book a 3, I feel that it is an excellent example of an amazing author and I just KNOW that Heidi Joy Tretheway is going to knock my socks off with the next book in the series! I highly recommend reading Tattoo Thief and I hope that you enjoy it’s unique qualities, it’s epic romance, and the touch of suspense as much as I did!

This was my first Ana Blaze book, I’m sure those of you that keep up with my reviews know that I am all about finding new authors to obsess over When I got a look at the blurb for A Late Thaw, I just couldn’t say no! It just seemed so sweet and romantic! I always enjoy a good friends become lovers story!

Kiley and Cole had sparks flying as soon as the book began! Their chemistry was electric, explosive, and emotional. Even though they had spent the past few years apart, as soon as they are in the same room emotions start to run wild! The very first chapter had me hooked and wishing the book was longer.

I’m not usually a huge fan of short stories, I am usually very disappointed because I feel like things are missing in the relationship, the flow is rushed and I either don’t attach to the characters or the book ends just in time for me to which just ticks me off. I was VERY surprised by A Late Thaw, it didn’t do any of these things! Ana Blaze managed in 48 pages, what some authors can’t do 200! Cole and Kiley are extremely well developed, the romance flows quickly but smoothly (I felt like moving this fast worked because they had been friends for so long. If they had just met this would not have worked!) and I was attached to the characters before chapter 3 was over! Put simply, A Late Thaw is an excellently executed love story!

I loved how seamlessly the book switches between Kiley and Cole. You guys know I love a good dual POV book! I find it endearing that no matter how hard they tried, neither one of them could move on over the years apart and yet they had no idea how the other felt! Not really sure how that happens lol 

Anyways, let’s talk about the story for a minute. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It’s a basic “friends turn lovers” story and yet manages to be unique and fun. I adored the banter between Kiley and Cole! I can honestly say that I fell in love with Cole as soon as I got to read his POV, he is just your typical Southern man, which basically means that he is sexy, sweet, and protective!

Oh yeah, I’m supposed to be talking story…not sexy men!

Where was I? Okay…the sex in this book manages to be HOT, HOT, STEAMING HOT and yet touches on the serious and humorous at the same time! Not fully sure how Ana Blaze managed that one but dang…YOU GO GIRL! If you haven’t read A Late Thaw yet and don’t know what I’m talking about (Well one…go buy it NOW and read it! Totally worth it!) just know that clouds pop up in the most random of places! Haha best weather forecast ever!

Random note: I totally relate to Kiley’s method of getting eggs! I’m not worried about the chickens though….it’s the rooster you need to look out for!

I guess I should stop rambling and get to the point, huh? My overall opinion of this book is that it ROCKS! I quickly fell in love with Ana Blaze’s writing style and couldn’t put the book down! Luckily for me it was short, seeing as I started reading it at about 11pm last night! The characters are well developed, easy to love, and totally made for each other!

Ana lives just outside Washington, DC, with her very supportive husband and three rather demanding cats. She loves the ocean, Indian food, Ikea, and cooking. Before settling down as a writer, Ana was an elementary school teacher, a preschool teacher, a camp counselor, a waitress, a research assistant, a canoe tour guide, and one glorious summer during college she spent eight hours a day placing stickers inside library books so they would be part of the fancy new automated checkout system. She won’t say which job she liked best.

Describe Cole in 15 words or less!

Strong. Dependable. Hot. Loyal. Tall. Built. Farmer. Funny. Stubborn. Sexy.

Who is your favorite character in the book? Why?

I tend to like the guys best and this is one of those times. Cole is just an incredibly solid guy. He is at an age when a lot of guys are still being kids, but he’s already taken over his family farm. He has employees that count on him and the weight of preserving his father’s life’s work on his shoulders but he took it all in stride. Also, he has the great taste and common sense to have fallen for Kiley, who is snarky and klutzy and would totally be one of my besties.

What was your favorite chapter (or part) to write and why?

The first kiss. I love Kiley and Cole’s first kiss because it has been coming for sooooo long and there is a whole myriad of emotions fueling it. 

I have to agree with you here! That first kiss and both of their reactions was PERFECT! Even Cole seemed surprised by it!

Are you the driver or a passenger in your book? (Are you in control of where the story goes or does it sort of just happen?)

My stories are usually inspired by a very specific moment or scene that appears in my head. I will sort of dissect that scene to get to know the characters and then they run things. I can be surprised…a little. I tend to get to know them very well before things get very far along.

What’s next for you?

I’m always working on a few projects. Right now I am trying to focus on finishing the first book in a paranormal romance series, but there is a contemporary novella threatening to take over my time for a few weeks first. 

I have to throw in at least a few SILLY questions!

You’re having a party. What character from your book do you hope attends? Why? What character do you hope doesn’t attend? Why?

A party can always use a little extra eye candy, so let’s hope Cole can make it. I probably won’t be inviting Buddy from Buddy’s Bierhaus, but mainly because he always brings stale pretzels. I mean the man owns a bar, the least he could do is bring some beer, right?

If A Late Thaw were a dessert what would it be and why?

Well the whole story is a bit of a love story to Vermont, so it would definitely be maple flavored.  Can pancakes be dessert? If not, we’ll go with maple candy.

What books are on your nightstand or by your chair?

Right now, I have a stack. I just finished Up From the Grave by Jeaniene Frost and haven’t moved it yet so that’s there. Beside it, sits Addicted to Love by Lori Wilde, Feast of Fools by Rachel Caine and Undead to the World by D.D. Barant. I’m holding off on that last one because I think I skipped a book earlier in the series and want to read that one first. 

Who is your favorite “Book Boyfriend”? What series is it from and who wrote it?

I really like Bones from Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series, Frost from Laurell K. Hamilton’s Merry Gentry Books, Eric from Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse series, Lucas Cortez from Kelley Armstrong’s Woman of the Otherworld series, David from Rachel Caine’s Weather Warden books and R from Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion.

OMG I am a total Bones fan! I adore that series and always find myself hoping for a new one! I like the spin off series about Vlad as well! Eric is pretty dang hot as well! Wait…dang girl I think your list matches up pretty perfectly with mine! The only book I haven’t read yet is Warm Bodies!

We all need a hero! Tell us about the protagonist in Evolution, Was there a real-life inspiration behind him or her?

My heroine is a hero in the most literal sense possible. Candace Bristol has spent 5 years working to become a superhero and finally reaches her goal, but, like most things, it turns out to be quite different than she imagined. She’s driven and never lets anyone tell her she can’t do something, which is something I love about her and sincerely feel there needs to be more of in fiction. But, she also comes to realize that sometimes you can’t do everything on your own, and friends you can trust make all the difference in life. She’s not really based on any particular person, though.

Who is your favorite character in the book? Why?

I think my favorite character in the series is probably Candace’s cousin, Gabe. He’s super-supportive and puts up with all of Candace’s drama. Also, he has a fantastic sense of humor. It isn’t really a one-sided relationship, though, as Candace loves him just as whole-heartedly as he does her and helps him whenever she can.

What was your favorite chapter (or part) to write and why?

My favorite bits from the series typically involve conversations between Candace and Jackson, or Candace and Gabe. I’m a sucker for snarky banter, and Jackson never fails me there.

Are you the driver or a passenger in your book? (Are you in control of where the story goes or does it sort of just happen?)

A bit of both, I think. I make loose lists of plot ideas, but my characters always manage to throw a wrench or two in my plans. Generally I can stay on target, but how I get from A to B isn’t always my choice.

Where do superheroes fit in book genres?

Technically, I’ve placed my books in Science Fiction Romance, but it’s very light on science, and would probably easily fit in with Paranormal Romance. The difference for me is in how you explain the extraordinary. My superheroes come into their powers via scientific means, as opposed to magic, but, really, that’s such a tiny part of the story I sort of hate having to label it as such. I don’t want to scare off any readers that might see the Sci-Fi tag and lose interest. For me, the important part is the characters and their journey. So long as they’re grounded in a believable world, I keep the boring details to a minimum.

So why superheroes then?

Really, why not? If folks can write about vampires and werewolves falling in love and fighting evil, why not humans with comic-book type abilities? See also: the Avengers movie. Great story and some really delicious eye candy. LOL

What’s next for you?

The final book in the Evolution series goes live on July 6th, but I’ve still got more planned for the year. In September I’m releasing a Steampunk Adventure called Master of Myth (Antigone’s Wrath #1), and then in November I’ve got a gender-flipped retelling of Snow White called Shadows on Snow. Both of these are content and language clean, so will be suitable for most audiences (as opposed to the Evolution series which is for 18+ readers).

You’re having a party. What character from your book do you hope attends? Why? What character do you hope doesn’t attend? Why?

There aren’t many characters from book 1 that I wouldn’t want at a party, but I think Gabe would be an absolute blast at one. I’m pretty sure he’d come up with some amazing games. Jackson would probably be surly and sit in a corner all night, so he can stay home.

If your book were a dessert what would it be and why?

S’mores! Because chocolate! Also: Jackson’s touch on those marshmallows makes them a pretty apt snack to go with these books!

What books are on your nightstand or by your chair?

Oh man. SO many. I absolutely have to read Clicks by Amy Evans because I’ve had it for a year and really need to get to it. But, I just discovered Being Jamie Baker by Kelly Oram, which is YA superheroes and it’s really tempting to drop everything I’m doing and read it RIGHT NOW.                                    

Who is your favorite “Book Boyfriend”? What series is it from and who wrote it?

I’m not so much into the book boyfriend thing, but I really loved Garrett Reese from Misty Provencher’s Cornerstone series. That’s a YA title and kinda makes me feel weird about liking him so much, but whatever. LOL. I have a huge weak spot for intelligent men, so any fictional guy I fall in love with must have brains and not just looks. Smart is my sexy!

When a guy and a girl live under the same roof, it’s bound to complicate things. Between banters, heady games of seduction, innuendos and insecurities revealed, the life in apartment 2B isn’t simple, and a few slips in their relationship doesn’t help the matter.

“You’re driving me completely nuts. That’s my fucking problem.”

I have been dying to get my hands on this book since I first ran across it! The title, 2B Or Not 2B, alone just dragged me in and had me hooked! Then I made the mistake of actually reading the blurb for it…holy mother I must have this book!

Lucky, lucky me, Stephanie Witter allowed me to have an ARC copy of the book in exchange for an honest review…this meant I got it a day early!!! Hahahaha suckers! (Okay…just kidding…well I’m mainly kidding about the suckers part…)

Let’s talk story line for starters…London is a college chick that doesn’t want to stay in a dorm and is searching for an apartment with a roommate. After checking out a few pretty out there places she comes up to Byron’s place and knows that she has to convince this guy that she can stay with him and things not be weird…even though she is a chick and he is an insanely hot guy (with a bit of a dark and womanizing side). They work it out so that she has a 2 month trial stay in his apartment, 2b, hence the awesomely creative name!

How about the characters? The chemistry between these two is crazy from the start! They use witty banter, call each other names, scream, use creative and hilarious nicknames, and treat each other like one of the guys…most of the time! I’m trying to do this without spoilers…and IT’S NOT EASY! This book is insane! The characters are addicting, easy to relate to and well developed. There are so many scenes in this book that had me thinking “yeah…been there!” especially with how London see’s herself…some of her self descriptions are pretty harsh and tough to read. I doubt she is even all that big!

Byron is a douche for a big part of this book! I mean really…the way he behaves after certain things occur is just unacceptable! I don’t care what he thought he saw or what misunderstandings there were! You just don’t pull that crap! However, I found London and Elliot’s way of payback to be quite epic and awesome!

The background characters in this book are amazingly well developed. I found myself upset when I didn’t get to learn more about Macon and Ty or Sydney and Logan before the book ended…heck I’m even looking forward to and hoping that Elliot finds his own story in this series! (HINT enough??? Or shall I beg Stephanie for this one?)

I’m sure you are ready for me to get down to the point and say what I need to say about the book huh? Enough rambling about details without giving you any information!

So here it is plain and simple:

This book will keep you hooked from the moment you open it til the very last page where you are almost in tears and hoping that it doesn’t take long for the next book to come out (and it better touch on how this relationship is going!). London and Byron are a dynamic, tenacious, insane couple that will have you feeling like you just road the best roller coaster ever! I can guarantee that you will love the banter between these two…this is a DEFINITE MUST READ!!

So stop reading my review and head on over and buy this book…like now!

(Just in case you were wondering: this book got 4 stars instead of 5 for me for a few small reasons. There were a few things that were a bit repetitive (but not so much that I didn’t want to keep reading) and there were quite a few errors in my copy…this may not be so in the published copy and if it isn’t then I will come back and edit my review accordingly!) 

Stephanie Witter is a French dreamer. She started learning English at three, and fell in love with the language. Always with a book, or two close by, she started reading in English when she couldn’t wait any longer for Harry Potter to be translated in French. After a while, reading wasn’t enough. She soon started writing Young Adult and new Adult Contemporary novels filled with angst, love, hope, drama and a touch of fun. PATCH UP is her first New Adult Contemporary novel.

Describe your book/series in 15 words or less!

College girl meets her new roommate, a hot and scarred ex-soldier. A hot mess begins!

When did you start writing? How did you come up with your books name?

I started writing seriously 3 or 4 years ago. I have many more stories to tell! 

What is something about yourself that most of your readers don’t know?

 

I’m not sure if they know about this or not, but I love watching TV series. I’m also laughing a lot while watching horror movies. Hm… Let me think about something to show how weird I truly am. 

 

I hate planes. Flying is really not my thing. Whenever I’m on a plane I become paranoid and think that I’m going to die. Believe me, it’s difficult to keep a calm exterior when inside you’re sure you’re going to die. The last time I was on a plane, I couldn’t release my hold on the seat in front of me. For almost 4 hours.

 

OH MY GOSH! I have never been on a plane and if I can help it I never will lol they terrify me!!

 

What do you find most challenging about being an author?

 

I have two things I find challenging. Marketing my books and myself, because I’m really not good at this, and finding the time to actually write. I’m not a full time author and it can be even trickier to find a few hours every day to actually meet my deadlines. And it’s without saying that writing a book is pretty challenging in itself. 

 

What do you find most rewarding about being an author?

 

Readers’ messages, reviews and enthusiasm. Without them I’d keep my stories stored on my laptop. They make it even more thrilling because when they tell you that you made them laugh or cry? It’s amazing. Creating something from just an idea, something that brings emotions to people is something I never thought I’d be able to do.

 

What book are you most proud of so far?

 

It’s difficult to say… I love my books obviously, but the one very close to my heart is PATCH UP. It’s a New Adult Contemporary novel about abuse among other things.

 

What are two of your favorite books/series by other authors?

 

I love Slammed by Colleen Hoover. I’ve been a fan since the very beginning when she first self-published it.

I also fell in love with Kellan Kyle in Thoughtless by S.C Stephens.

But it’s really bothering me to list only two because I have many, many books and authors I deeply love.

 

I know, I know! Sowwie…I have to limit it! But I know it’s a toughie for me to answer and honestly changes from day to day for me! lol

 

What’s next for you?

 

Next? I’m working with my beta reader on finalizing FIX UP, Patch Up’s sequel that will be published next October. I’m also writing the first draft of a novel that features Kate & Derek, two secondary characters from Patch Up. This book will be published next November. I’m still pretty busy!

If you could have any one toy what would it be? Why?

 

A yoyo. I remember playing a lot with one when I was a small kid. It was trending again at the time. lol I remember having fun with it and also throwing against the wall of my house when I couldn’t do some tricks.

 

If you could have one super power what would it be? Why?

 

Telekinesis. Don’t ask me why, I don’t have a clue why. Maybe it’s my inner lazy self speaking up?

 

What would I find in your refrigerator right now?

 

Watermelon, yogurts, some vegetables, beef, sodas and nothing else. I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow.

 

If your book/series was a dessert, what would it be and why?

 

2B OR NOT 2B? would be some kind of exotic flavored dessert because London and Byron are quite an odd mix and they have some spunk. So, a dessert a little bit odd with an unexpected ingredient that makes it surprising.

 

What do you think about when you are alone in your car?

 

Mostly? New stories, my characters, what I still need to write next. I’m slightly obsessed as you now know.
